STORY

Paris 2020. Superheroes are perfectly assimilated within society and want to be famous at all costs – A drug that gives super powers to mere mortals is spreading all over town. Lieutenants Moreau and Schaltzmann are investigating the case with the support of two ex-superheroes, Monte Carlo and Callista. They’ll do whatever it takes to dismantle the traffic. But Moreau’s past resurfaces, and the investigation becomes more complicated.

How I Became a Super Hero Full Movie Review:

in a world where random people are born with super powers, we follow a cop from a FRINGE-like police squad, taking on a new drug that when inhaled, reproduces those super powers for anyone. well-paced, douglas attal’s first work features solid action sequences, interesting characters and a good score. it also offers some interesting ideas and insights, like the psychological aspect of those youngsters with peculiar abilities (in a very m. night fashion), or the proliferation of seemingly harmless drugs (reminiscent of laughing gas), especially among the youth in difficulty.
