STORY

Hit and Run (TV Series 2021): A happily married man’s life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit-and-run accident in Tel Aviv.

Hit & Run is based mostly in Tel Aviv and New York. With exciting locations, the story proves to be even more exciting. Lior Raz portrays Segev Azulay, who at the beginning of the series is happily married to Danielle Wexler Azulai, played by Kaelen Ohm. But Segev’s life is turned upside down when Danielle is killed in an apparent yet mysterious hit & run accident in Tel Aviv. Whilst grieving for his wife, Segev learns there’s more to her death. To protect himself and his family, he searches for the truth that Danielle may have hidden whilst she was alive, with his search for the truth taking him from Tel Aviv and all the way to New York.

Fans of the Israeli television series Fauda will have an instant connection with Netflix’s Hit & Run; not only is Lior Raz a lead character in Fauda, but he also created Fauda alongside Issacharoff. Long story short, if you enjoyed Fauda, you’ll love this comprehensive series.Hit & Run is an electrifying watch. Think of the Liam Neeson film Unknown, but even better. The story possibly could have worked as a film, but it’s so much better as a series. There’s more to enjoy, more to be shocked by, and more time to become invested with the characters and the surprising chain of events that unfold.
